# Refund policy. 

14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. We want you confident in your purchase, not stuck with a subscription that did not work for you. 

Effective May 25, 2026.

## 1\. 14-day money-back guarantee

We back every paid Subscription with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with DesignSetGo Apps, request a refund within 14 days of your purchase or renewal and we will refund the full amount you paid for that billing period.

The guarantee applies to both annual and monthly Subscriptions and to both the Pro and Studio tiers. It applies to the initial purchase and to every renewal.

## 2\. The free trial does not require a refund

Our 14-day Pro trial is cardless. **You are not charged when you start the Trial.** Nothing is automatically billed when the Trial ends. On the 15th day, Pro features simply deactivate and your installation reverts to the Free Tier. There is no payment to refund.

The 14-day money-back guarantee in Section 1 only applies once you have actually paid for a Subscription.

## 3\. How to request a refund

The fastest way to get a refund is through your Freemius account portal:

1. Sign in at [users.freemius.com](https://users.freemius.com/) with the email address you used at checkout.
2. Open the DesignSetGo Apps subscription and choose _Request a refund_.
3. Freemius processes the refund directly to your original payment method.

If you cannot access your Freemius account, email [support@designsetgo.dev](mailto:support@designsetgo.dev) from the address you used at checkout with the order ID (visible on your purchase receipt) and we will process the refund manually.

## 4\. How quickly the refund processes

We approve refund requests received within the 14-day window the same business day, usually within a few hours. Once approved, your payment processor (typically Stripe via Freemius) returns the funds to your original payment method. Most banks credit the account within 3 to 10 business days; some can take longer. We have no control over your bank's posting time.

## 5\. What happens to your account after a refund

When a refund is issued:

* Your Subscription is canceled immediately.
* Your license is deactivated on all Sites where it was installed.
* Apps you installed during the Subscription remain installed on your Site, but Pro-gated runtime features (CLI deploy, Riff, scheduled jobs, webhook endpoints, dynamic routes, abilities publishing, ai.prompt, write bridge methods) become unavailable.
* Your Site reverts to the Free Tier: one active app per site, runtime, HTML uploader, and read-only bridge methods.

The Free Tier continues to work without a Subscription. We do not delete, lock, or disable the apps you built.

## 6\. Renewals: 14 days from each renewal

The 14-day window resets at each renewal. If your annual Subscription auto-renews and you decide within 14 days of that renewal that you no longer want it, you are eligible for a full refund of the renewed period. The same applies to monthly Subscriptions.

If you want to prevent the next renewal entirely, cancel auto-renewal in your Freemius account portal before the renewal date. Cancellation alone does not trigger a refund; you keep access to Pro features for the remainder of the current billing period.

## 7\. What is not eligible

The 14-day money-back guarantee does not apply to:

* Requests received more than 14 days after the purchase or renewal date;
* Add-on charges (such as the DesignSetGo-Managed AI Connector when it becomes available) that have separate refund terms disclosed at the time of purchase;
* Charges from third parties that DesignSetGo did not collect (for example, AI inference costs you incurred with Anthropic, OpenAI, or your own AI provider during your Subscription; we do not charge for inference and cannot refund what we did not collect);
* Cases where we have terminated your account for a material breach of our [Terms of Service](/terms/) (for example, license-key abuse, reselling Pro features without a Studio license, or running unlawful content through the bridge).

## 8\. Chargebacks

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please email us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Almost every chargeback could have been resolved by a refund request. We honor legitimate chargebacks, but a chargeback filed without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended for the duration of the dispute and may forfeit future eligibility for the money-back guarantee.

## 9\. Changes to this Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The Refund Policy that applies to a purchase is the one in effect on the date of that purchase. Changes do not retroactively reduce your refund rights for Subscriptions you already bought.
